Deleting motions from Order of Business

Summary

On the news that Senator David Norris has been ill, while Members were not aware of how serious it was, I express Members' thoughts for him at this stage. He has always shown such vigour and enthusiasm and Members look forward to having him back here very shortly.

I second Senator Jilliana van Turnhout's proposed amendment to the Order of Business on the grounds that when Members do not have enough work to do, it simply does not seem to make sense to have debates without-----

On a point of clarification, I do not believe Senator Jillian van Turnhout proposed an amendment. She stated she was opposing the Order of Business, but it is not a specific amendment.
