Justice Secretary General testimony

Summary

The Leader declines to predict what Justice Secretary General Brian Purcell will say before the committee, rejecting speculation and urging Senators to await the evidence.

A number of Members raised issues that were raised on the Order of Business yesterday. I do not know whether they were present yesterday, but I find it difficult to have to repeat myself day after day for Members who were not present on the previous day who come in and make the same points. However, I will deal with some of the points raised this morning.

Conspiracy theories were advanced by Senator Darragh O'Brien on the Secretary General of the Department of Justice and Equality.
