Pension and welfare cuts dispute
Senators argue over responsibility for past cuts to pensions, allowances and the Christmas bonus, alongside claims that the Government may reduce free transport. The Chair repeatedly rules the exchanges out of order.

Yes. This was all done under the watchful eyes of Deputies Micheál Martin, Willie O'Dea and Éamon Ó Cuív and Ms Mary Hanafin, all of whom were Ministers at the time. These are the facts and figures.
