Racist comments in Limerick
Senator Ó Ríordáin repeatedly challenged the Leader over racist comments attributed to a Limerick councillor. The Chair repeatedly ruled the comments out of order and insisted the Leader be allowed to respond.

The councillor has apologised for his remarks. I do not in any way condone any inflammatory, racist or intolerant remarks.
