‹ Order of Business Restaurant prices and tourism value
Summary
A Senator sought clarification on restaurant pricing in the tourism sector, and the Leader said some prices are unacceptably high and value for money is needed. Members disagreed, but he said he would support the restaurant sector.
I just want to clarify the matter for the Leader. Restaurants, with the Restaurants Association of Ireland, have been responsible regarding the rate, but other tourism sectors may have not been as much.
