Presidential election remarks

Summary

A short dispute arose when Craughwell mentioned the Presidency and salaries, and the Chair ruled that the House could not discuss it during an election. The Leader accepted that ruling and declined to discuss the matter further.

I will not be. I am quite happy to have my Irish passport and travel as an Irish citizen on it.

To be fair, if that was the case the Senator should also have commended the Uachtarán on taking a pay cut at the beginning of his term in office.
