British-Irish cooperation and Brexit

Summary

The Leader and Senators Leyden, Gallagher, Mullen and others discussed strengthening the British-Irish Parliamentary Assembly and widening participation, before the Cathaoirleach urged a return to business.

It is important that we, as parliamentarians, reach across to and engage with other parliamentarians. Post Brexit, the need for the assembly to be strengthened and the meetings to be held more often will be evident.
