Summary
The Chair welcomed visitors, restated Senator Wilson’s amendment, and noted the Leader’s acceptance before the amendment was agreed.
Before we move on I would like to welcome a long-standing friend of mine, Mr. Martin O’Mahony, and his business colleague, Chris Samuelson, who has diplomatic immunity in west Cork for most of the year. They are very welcome to the Seanad Chamber.
Senator Wilson has proposed an amendment to the Order of Business, "That No. 75, non-Government motion 13, be taken before No. 1." The Leader has indicated that he is prepared to accept the amendment. Is the amendment agreed? Agreed.
