Amendments withdrawn and No. 5 deleted

Summary

The Leader noted Boyhan’s request had been reasonable but the amendment was withdrawn. Bacik also withdrew her proposal, and the Leader’s motion to delete No. 5 was agreed.

I thank Senator Boyhan for that. To be fair, his request was a legitimate one but as I said earlier, only seven Members had spoken.

The point is made.

Senator Bacik has moved an amendment to the Order of Business: "That No. 3 not be taken today and that a debate with the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport on transport matters be taken instead." Is the amendment being pressed?

Comment on this

I will withdraw it in light of the last vote.

I would like to inform the House that the Minister, Deputy Ross, was available to come in.
