Order of Business
The Leader outlined the day's motions and timing, including joint debate on criminal justice motions and a tribute to John Robb.
The Order of Business is No. 1, motion regarding the Offences against the State (Amendment) Act 1998; and No. 2, motion regarding the Criminal Justice (Amendment) Act 2009, to be taken at 1.45 p.m., to be discussed together and to conclude within 85 minutes, if not previously concluded, with the time allocated to group spokespersons not to exceed eight minutes and all other Senators not to exceed five minutes, and the Minister to be given not less than six minutes to reply to the debate. We will pay tribute to our former colleague and friend, John Robb, at 12.45 p.m. for one hour.
