Taiwan trade clarification
A prolonged back-and-forth followed over whether the Leader supported trade with Taiwan and what had been said about China and markets. By the end, the Leader repeatedly confirmed support for trading with Taiwan, and Wilson clarified he had not objected to trade with any country.
If Members in this House really want to state to the Department that we are not going to take up the opportunities of new markets in China and €6 billion in trade, then that flies in the face of what Fianna Fáil did in government for 20 years.
