‹ An tOrd Gnó - Order of Business Tractors and local shopping
Summary
A light exchange followed about tractors, city people, and shopping locally, with a joking invitation to Clare and a reminder that local purchases support jobs.
Hear, hear. We do not want to have to buy tractors elsewhere. They come to Dublin now.
Comment on this
There are some in Senator McDowell's profession who could afford to buy all of the tractors that were there.

Are we all to go to Clare?
Comment on this
I am sure that we could organise a few tractors to bring some of the Senators' group down to Clare to go shopping if they were so inclined.
Comment on this
Absolutely. We will get a big tractor for Senator Craughwell. I wish all colleagues the best. People should shop local. It creates and retains jobs.
