School bus vaping row

Summary

Senator Lombard completed his point that children cannot use school buses because of vaping by other pupils and asked for a debate with Health or Education. The Chair repeatedly curtailed him, and the exchange became a prolonged procedural row over extra time and counting items.

Can I finish, Chair?

Finish up, please, Senator.

Comment on this

The issue is that children will not get on the school bus because other children are vaping on it. This issue needs to be looked at.

We need to have a debate with the representatives of either the Department of Health or the Department of Education about this issue.
