Sitting Arrangements: Motion
The Seanad agreed to sit at 9 a.m. on 17 December 2025, take the resumed Mental Health Bill Committee Stage, then Commencement Matters and Order of Business.
I move:
That, notwithstanding anything in the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, the Seanad on its rising on Tuesday, 16th December, 2025, shall adjourn until 9 a.m. on Wednesday, 17th December, 2025, and the following arrangements shall apply:
(a) Mental Health Bill 2024 [Dáil] – Committee Stage (resumed).
The proceedings on the Committee Stage of the Mental Health Bill 2024 [Dáil] shall be taken at 9 a.m. and shall, if not previously concluded, be adjourned at 10.30 a.m.;
(b) Commencement Matters shall be taken at 10.30 a.m. in accordance with Standing Order 31;
(c) The Order of Business shall be proposed at 11.30 a.m.
