Tycor fire and Celtic victory
The Chair welcomes a Network Ireland Mayo visitor. Senator Conway supports comments on the Tycor business centre and then congratulates Glasgow Celtic on their league win.
I join with Senator Duffy in welcoming Network Ireland Mayo and its president, Orla. She is most welcome to Seanad Éireann. I call Senator Conway.

Tá drogall orm mo chabáiste a chur ar fhiuchadh faoi dhó ach aontaím go hiomlán leis an méid a bhí á rá ag an Seanadóir Boyhan faoi pháirc ghnó Tycor i bPort Láirge, an obair iontach atá déanta ag an gcomhairle thall ansin chun rudaí a chur ar ais ar fheabhas, agus an t-airgead a thug an Rialtas go fial. Aontaím leis an méid a bhí á rá ag an Seanadóir Ruane chomh maith.
I send my congratulations to Glasgow Celtic and their manager. Most of their supporters would say that the manner in which the team won the league on Saturday was very dramatic. Having taken over the managership on two occasions during the season, we should celebrate in this House the great Derryman who played Gaelic football for Kilrea, St. Columb's College and St. Malachy's and who went on to have a distinguished football career in Northern Ireland and across the water for Nottingham Forest and several other teams. Having played nearly 500 senior games and 64 internationals, he is a credit to us and to himself. He only saw red on two occasions. The concise message is that resourceful, disciplined and, indeed, handsome men in their 70s should never be underestimated.
