The committee arranged a temporary Chair for consideration of the Criminal Justice (Terrorist Offences) (Amendment) Bill 2025 and briefly suspended for the Minister's arrival.
Apologies have been received from Deputy Butterly. I understand Deputy Boland will attend in substitution for her. I remind members to turn off their phones. As indicated, we are dealing with the Criminal Justice (Terrorist Offences) (Amendment) Bill 2025. As I have submitted a number of amendments I propose to vacate the Chair and ask for a proposal for a temporary Chair.
