asked the Minister for Local Government if he will consider having money made available for a new road from Brandon to Cuas in Brandon Creek, Dingle, County Kerry, which would be of great scenic advantage.

The provision for Road Fund grants this year has been allocated and I have no other funds at my disposal from which additional grants could be made available. I may add that the block grant allocated to Kerry County Council this year amounts to £315,000 and it is open to them to decide the works to undertake in respect of this allocation.
