McEllistrim sought funding for a scenic road from Brandon to Cuas; Tully said no extra grants were available, but Kerry County Council could choose works funded by its block grant.

Comment on this
The provision for Road Fund grants this year has been allocated and I have no other funds at my disposal from which additional grants could be made available. I may add that the block grant allocated to Kerry County Council this year amounts to £315,000 and it is open to them to decide the works to undertake in respect of this allocation.
