Asked whether legislation on the Kenny Report would be brought forward, the Minister said the report had been under review since 1973 and that he expected a proposal to go before Government. The remaining questions were deferred to the next Order Paper.

Information in the form requested by the Deputy is not available in my Department. Information is, however, available on a quarterly basis on the average gross price of new houses in the Dublin area for which loans were approved by the main leading agencies and on a yearly basis on the average price per acre of land acquired by agreement by Dublin local authorities. The available data shows average prices, as follows:

That report has been in the Department since 1973. Since I went to the Department we have been having a look at it and I feel sure something will be before the Government——
