On a point of order, can the Ceann Comhairle tell me why the national flag is not flying outside the House today? It is an insult to this House and what it stands for as a national Parliament. Apparently a rope broke on Monday night and the Office of Public Works are asleep still. It is a disgrace.

I will have inquiries made about it immediately.
