‹ Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. National flag absent from Leinster House
Summary
Dr. McCarthy called the missing national flag an insult and a disgrace; the Ceann Comhairle said he would make inquiries immediately.
On a point of order, can the Ceann Comhairle tell me why the national flag is not flying outside the House today? It is an insult to this House and what it stands for as a national Parliament. Apparently a rope broke on Monday night and the Office of Public Works are asleep still. It is a disgrace.
