Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources the details of each statutory instrument signed; each contract entered into; each tender issued; each tender awarded; and each State board appointment made by him or by an agency of his Department from 1 January 2016 to date, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The information which the Deputy requested is outlined in the table below.

In procuring any services, my Department always seeks to ensure value for money and to keep expenditure to the minimum necessary.

The information sought by the Deputy regarding the agencies under the aegis of my Department is an operational matter for each Agency. I will request the relevant bodies to reply directly to the Deputy with the information requested in respect of their organisation.
