Thirty-fifth Amendment of the Constitution (Common Ownership of Water Resources) Bill 2016: First Stage

Bill Thirty-fifth Amendment of the Constitution (Common Ownership of Water Resources) Bill 2016
Lapsed

No. 46 of 2016 ›

Tairgim:

Go gceadófar go dtabharfar isteach Bille dá ngairtear Acht chun an Bunreacht a leasú.

I move:

That leave be granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to amend the Constitution.

The Bill seeks to guarantee public ownership of our public water supply, which I believe will receive widespread support in the House. I look forward to having a debate with other parties that are presenting similar Bills in the near future.

Since this is a Private Members' Bill, Second Stage must, under Standing Orders, be taken in Private Members' time.
