There are currently 11 officers assigned to the Communications and Press Office team in this Department.

Since the formation of this Department in September 2020, a total of 21 officers have spent some time assigned to the Communications and Press Office team.

This team is responsible for informing the public about the Department’s programmes and progress against the Statement of Strategy, for media response and wider media relations, event organisation, social and digital media, co-ordination of briefing material, media services, communications-related training, and internal communications within the Department.

The table below sets out the number of staff that served in each grade since September 2020. Due to staff turnover, more than one officer in a grade may have been assigned to a post within a year.
