James Browne Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage Fianna Fáil

Under section 586 of the Planning and Development Act 2024, the Minister with responsibility for planning is precluded from exercising any power or control in relation to any particular case with which a planning authority or the Board is or may be concerned. This includes the "Part 8" process.

This precludes me from making any comment at any stage on any planning permission application relating to the Newmarket project in Dublin 8.
