Darragh O'Brien Minister for Transport Fianna Fáil

My Department has been informed by AirNav Ireland that they have engaged with Indra Navia AS in relation to aircraft navigation systems at Irish State airports.

Indra Navia AS was appointed following a competitive public procurement process conducted by the Irish Aviation Authority in 2020 for the replacement of Instrument Landing System (ILS) infrastructure at the State airports. The company was selected as the preferred bidder following evaluation of tenders received under that process. The contract was transferred to AirNav Ireland on 1 May 2023.

The project is ongoing and no elements of the project have been abandoned, paused or placed on hold. There are no reported cost overruns or delivery overruns in respect of this contract. The contract value is €2,827,247.03 (exclusive of VAT).

Indra Navia AS is a recognised international provider of air navigation and landing system technology and has been engaged by AirNav Ireland in connection with the delivery and support of ILS systems at the State airports.
