Helen McEntee Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade Fine Gael

Ireland is unwavering in its support for Ukraine and has consistently engaged in international fora to condemn the arbitrary detentions, unlawful deportations and forcible transfers carried out by Russia.

In individual cases, my Department provides a range of help and support to Irish citizens in distress abroad. We are unfortunately not in a position to provide consular assistance in this case as the individual is not an Irish citizen.

If the circumstances permit, contact should be made with the relevant Embassy of Ukraine to seek assistance.
