The Ceann Comhairle welcomed visitors and Deputy Cairns offered a personal welcome and good wishes to the Minister. No substantive issue was raised yet.
In a break from tradition but as we are doing the welcomes - we have a lot of people in the Public Gallery - I wish to especially welcome Siobhán and Martin Lynch whom some have mentioned already. They are the parents of Grace Lynch who was killed in a tragic accident in January. They are in the Gallery today. They will be making an appearance at a meeting of the justice committee. You are most welcome today.
