2265. Deputy Aidan Farrelly asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration if he will provide the number of motorcycles that are currently within Garda roads policing fleet by engine CC capacity, in tabular form. [56918/26]

This Government is committed to ensuring that An Garda Síochána has the resources it needs to fight crime and a strengthened, well-resourced Garda organisation is central to this policy.

Information in relation to the Garda fleet is publicly available and can be found at the following link:

The Deputy should select Finance Fleet Management and access the file titled “Fleet Management Report to the most recent date” for a breakdown of vehicles currently in use.

It should be noted that An Garda Síochána publish the number of motorcycles broken down by Garda district and age of vehicle. A breakdown of the motorcycle fleet by engine CC capacity is not published.
