Deputy Liam Quaide asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality the number of people aged under 65 residing in nursing homes at the end of each year from 2021 to 2025 and currently in 2026; the number in that age group admitted to and discharged from nursing homes in each year; the number discharged to an appropriate community-based setting; and the projected reduction in the number of people aged under 65 residing in nursing homes by the end of 2026.
