Disability Services

2988. Deputy Liam Quaide asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality the number of private for-profit disability service providers funded by the HSE that rely wholly or partly on HSE community or specialist teams for multidisciplinary clinical supports, including psychology, occupational therapy, social work and speech and language therapy; the number for which no formal multidisciplinary support arrangement is in place; the figures by HSE Health Region, service type and provider; and whether HSE service agreements require each provider to demonstrate access to the clinical disciplines necessary to meet the assessed needs of the people it supports. As this question refers to service matters, I have asked the Health Service Executive (HSE) to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
