The Minister referred questions on private-clinic samples and consultant involvement at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital laboratory to the HSE for response.

Deputy Pádraig Rice asked the Minister for Health the volume of samples processed in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda laboratory that are from private clinics; if consultants on public only contracts must process these samples; the arrangements in place to ensure that public only consultants are not involved in this work; the relevant service level agreements in place with private clinics; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
