Mental Health Services
Deputy Liam Quaide sought information on HSE-funded mental health residences, shared bedrooms, long-term inpatient stays, delayed discharges and waiting lists for adult community mental health disciplines. Minister of State Mary Butler said the HSE would respond directly, as the questions concerned service matters.

Deputy Liam Quaide asked the Minister for Health the current number of residences providing 24-hour staff support for people using mental health services that are operated or funded by the HSE; the number of people currently living in such residences; the number of residences accommodating more than ten people and the number of residents living in those residences; the number located on or immediately adjacent to a hospital or healthcare campus; the figures by HSE Health Region and Integrated Healthcare Area; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
