Peter Burke Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment Fine Gael

As the National Competent authority for export controls, my responsibilities centre around the control of exports of dual-use and military items under EU and national legislation. These controls are administered by my Department, in accordance with EU and national legislation. Dual use exports are controlled by the Control of Exports Act 2023 and Regulation (EU) 2021/821 of the European Parliament and of the Council setting up a Union regime for the control of exports, brokering, technical assistance, transit and transfer of dual-use items.

The attached table gives the total number of individual licences issued for exports to Israel for the period 1 January 2025 to 1 July 2026.
