Deputy Cian O'Callaghan asked the Minister for Health the reason a two-year waiting list for an occupational therapist home assessment has been allowed to develop; the number of persons that are currently waiting for a home assessment in HSE Dublin and north east, HSE Dublin and midlands and HSE Dublin and south-east regions; the steps her Department is taking to address this backlog; the number of occupational therapists currently employed by the HSE for the purpose of completing home assessments in these regions; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
