I propose to take Questions Nos. 375 and 509 together.
Under the Road Safety Authority Act 2006, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) has statutory responsibility for all aspects of the National Driver Testing Service including decisions on opening and closing test centres.
Given the RSA's responsibility in this matter, I have referred the Deputies' questions to the RSA for direct response. Please contact my office if a reply is not received within ten days.
Pending this response, I am informed by the RSA that lease arrangements to expand capacity at the nearby Killester diver testing centre is complete and testing in Raheny will move to Killester from 21st September.
