Funding for capital projects managed by the NTA are allocated annually during the Budget Estimates process, generally covering programmes for the coming year.

The estimates process for Budget 2027 is underway at present and the final allocation will be published as part of the Revised Estimates for the Public Service.

The capital allocations for the NTA for the years 2025 and 2026 are €1.34bn and €1.68bn respectively and cover infrastructure works and other capital projects across NTA programmes.
