AirNav Ireland is a commercial semi-state company established in 2023 to provide 24/7 air navigation and related services within the 451,000 sq. km of airspace controlled by Ireland. It also provides terminal air traffic control services at the three State airports, Dublin, Cork and Shannon. It is funded by way of charges on airlines for its services and is regulated by the Irish Aviation Authority in respect of safety and the European Commission's performance and charging framework for the Single European Sky.

The question raised by the Deputy is an operational matter for the company. I have, therefore, referred the Deputy’s question to the company for consideration and direct reply. Please contact my private office if you have not received a response within 10 business days.
