Summary

The question on cleaning contractors’ compliance with employment and paid safety-training requirements was referred to the HSE for a direct response.

1416. Deputy Cian O'Callaghan asked the Minister for Health where the HSE or a public hospital contracts for cleaning services; the person or body that verifies the contractor’s compliance with the employment regulation order; if a contractor is required, at tender or during a public contract, to demonstrate that mandatory safety training is provided as paid working time; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
