Summary

The Minister referred questions on the three helicopter emergency medical services’ costs, contracts, operators and crewing arrangements to the HSE for response.

Deputy Pádraig Rice asked the Minister for Health the annual cost to the Exchequer of each of the three helicopter emergency medical services operated by, or on behalf of, the National Ambulance Service (details supplied), identifying separately in each case the annual contract or operating cost; the operator, the contract duration and expiry date where the service is contracted; and the daily hours of operation and the clinical crewing model.
