The Minister said there had been no change since his response to a previous parliamentary question on the Electoral Commission’s voting-age research.

Deputy Aidan Farrelly asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if he will provide an update in respect of the issue of the voting age that was examined by An Coimisiún Toghcháin as part of its research programme from 2024 to 2026; and if An Coimisiún Toghcháin have provided him with an interim and or full report and or recommendations in respect of that work.
