Civil servants within my Department provide the key policy advice, briefing materials and substantive inputs to Ministers in support of their official engagements, including the International AI Summit held on 14 October 2026. Ministerial speeches are informed by the relevant policy expertise within the Department and are aligned with Government policy and priorities.
