Jennifer Murnane O'Connor Minister of State at the Department of Health Fianna Fáil

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) is responsible for the provision of guidance in relation to compliance with food safety legislation. The inspection of food businesses, including food businesses involved in the provision of hot school meals, is carried out by the relevant official agencies operating under service contract with the FSAI. Accordingly, I have asked the FSAI to reply directly to the Deputy.
